The study is consisted of introduction, birth, childhood, marriage, death parts and preface, conclusion, references, dictionary divisions. Generally, information is given about settlement units, languages, population and socio-cultural life and structures of Turkmen and faith concept is addressed by benefiting from various dictionary, encyclopedia and other studies, faiths of Turkmen who live in Iraq are examined. In the first part, what Turkmen women apply when they could not have a child is discussed. In the second part, birth period and giving name for the child, circumcision feast, child folklore are discussed in sub-headings. In the third part, marriage stages, liking a girl, engagement, solemnizing, dowry, bride's bath, henna night, wedding stages, taking the bride to groom's house, nuptial, week of the bride (seventh day). and foot ceremony are discussed.
