The aim of this study was to examine pre-service teachers realization of ICT integration for effective mathematics instruction in a learning environment prepared according to 5E learning cycle model and ICT integration in the context of design based research. In line with this purpose, pre-service elementary mathematics teachers prepared lesson plans for ICT integration through a semester. This study was conducted at Hacettepe University, Elementary Mathematics Education Department in the spring semester of 2011-2012 academic year. The participants of this study were 47 pre-service teachers, of these were 38 male and 9 female, who enrolled the course Computer Assisted Mathematics Instruction at their sixth semester. Pre-service teachers were required to prepare lesson plans which aimed at ICT integration in accordance with learning objectives in each week.
