The purpose of the research is to evaluate the effectiveness of developed peace education program on the seventh grade students conflict resolution and communication skills. For this reason, peace education program (PEP) had been prepared and implemented and tested.The research was carried out with the participation of students who are registered at 2012– 2013 academic year in Beytepe Secondary School in the Çankaya town of Ankara.Pretest – posttest control group quasi-experimental design has been used in the research. In this research two groups were determined as experimental and control groups. For this reason, 35 students were selected as experiment group and likewise 35 students were selected as control group. Peace education program which is composed of eleven sessions were applied on experiment group one lesson hours (45 minutes) in a week. Approximately, the process lasted in a total of three-month. On the other hand, control group has not been provided any treatment.
