In the current study, the relationship of public high school teachers perceived organizational support and psychological capital levels was investigated in relation to their gender, education, type of high school, tenure, marital status and membership to an educational union. The study group of the study consists of 337 (182 female and 155 male) high school teachers from eight public high schools located in Ankara- Altındağ. The data collection tools were Psychological Capital Questionnaire (PsyCap) developed by Luthans, Avolio, Avey, and Norman (2007), and Survey of Perceived Organizational Support- Short Form (SPOS) developed by Eisenberger, Huntington, Hutchison, and Sowa (1986). The data were analyzed by utilizing t test, ANOVA, LSD test of post hoc tests, Pearson correlation, and multiple linear regression. The construct validity of the scales were tested by confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). The goodness of fit indexes generated by CFA verified the factors of the scales.
