The aim of this research is to determine the impact of the Creative Drama Method on pre-service class teachers achievement in Art Education Course and interest towards art. Experimental design has been used with pre-test and post-test control group in the research. The working group has been composed of 57 pre-service class teachers – 29 in experimental group and 28 in control group – who study Classroom Teaching at the Department of Primary Education at the Faculty of Education, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University at 2012-2013 Academic Year Spring Semester. The participants in the working group have been determined by random sampling. The mixed method, which includes both qualitative and quantitative methods, has beeen used for collecting, analyzing and interpreting the data. Within 10 sessions, the Creative Drama method has been used in Art Education Course attended by the experimental group and the traditional method has been used in Art Education Course attended by the control group.
