The task of the teachers in preschool education is not only children s healty development and success In addition, it is the responsibility of the educators to get the children to adopt social values, to provide children to be aware of cultural differences and to gain awareness about different professional groups in quickly changing technology era. İt is not a healty approach to expect preschool teachers to achieve all these objectives on their own. In this process, school administrators, school counselors, preschool teachers and parents should cooperate. Guidance services must support children and their families for these objectives in all areas. Apart from supporting the development of all children, guidance service must be provided to preschool teachers, families and organizations working for the benefit of children. Although guidance services on preschool education have a short history in Turkey there is a debate about removing these services from preschool institutions.
