The effect of model-based science education program based on skills of constructing, testing and revising of mental, expressed and consensus models in middle school science education, students views about nature of science and critical thinking abilities were tested, students and teachers views in terms of effectiveness of this process were analyzed in this research. Concurrent Triangulation Design as a mixed research methodology was used via using quasi-experimental study with control group and observational case study concurrently for this purpose. Three science education teachers and totally 114 students from 60 experiment and 54 control groups from three different schools were attained this research study. Qualitative and quantitative data collection tools were used together.
