The increase in the amount UV-B radiation affects negatively growth and development of plant.UV-B radiation impairs the structural integrity by targeting nucleic acids, hormones, membranes. It changes the direction of important metabolic processes such as photosynthesis in the cell. Thus, yield and product quality is also decreased.
