Bazı Benzotiyazol Türevi Bileşiklerin Mutajenik Potansiyellerinin Ames Test Sistemi İle Belirlenmesi

Abstract

In this study, the mutagenic potentials of 15 numbers of 2 substituted benzothiazole derivatives which might be effective as chemotherapeutic agents were investigated with Ames test system. Mutagenic potential of benzothiazole derivatives was evaluated with Ames Salmonella test system by using Salmonella typhimurium strains TA 98 and TA 100.The obtained results were analyzed statistically by using ANOVA (One-Way ANOVA) test in SPSS programme with the control groups.As a result of 9 and 15 numbered compounds have shown strong mutagenic effect on S.typhimurium TA100 strain at every dose, 7 numbered compound was found to be mutagenic on both S.typhimurium TA 98 (150 and 200 μg plaque) and S. typhimurium TA 100 (50 μg plaque) strains while, 4 numbered compound has mutagenic shown only on S. typhimurium TA98 (50 μg plaque) strains,13 numbered compound has shown weak mutagenic effect at 150 and 200 μg plaque.
