In this study, Extreme Value Theory (EVT) has been studied broadly. In practice, contrary to the popular applications (hydrology, meteorology, economy, etc.) we did an analysis of the seismic data which is new in the Turkish literature.EVT describe the possibility of occuring the future movements of extreme events which formed in the past in a limited number. It is extremely important to estimate probability of realization of these events which is very low probabilty but huge effects. Especially like our country, countries intertwined with natural disasters, the estimate of possible eartquakes size and time interval is very imported and also provide a great advantage to public and private sector. In our study data were basis of earthquakes in the years 1900-2014. With using the EVT estimation methods (BM(Blok Maksima) and POT(Peak Over Threshold)) obtained 50 and 100 years estimations.
