Gerçekçi Matematik Eğitiminin 9. Sınıf Matematik Dersi Öğretiminde Başarıya Etkisi

The aim of this study is to find out the effects of lesson activities which based on Realistics Mathematcis Education (RME) on students’ mathematical success. The study group was selected by non-random sampling method. The research is conducted with the pretest-posttest control group quasi experimental design. The study was conducted in the 9th grade Mathematics Course at Tavşanlı Arslanbey vocational and technical high school in the second term of the 2017-2018 Academic year, in Kütahya. During the implemantation , while the experimental group was treating the Realistics Mathematics Education course activity , the control group continued to the Ministiry of Education High School Mathematics Curriculum activities. In this research, contextual achievement test included 20 items have been developed in which the reliability and validity study has been done by the researcher. The data were analyzed by using Microsoft Excel and SPSS package program . Dependent and independent samples are analyzed by descriptive statistics, normality test, Wilcoxon signed rank test and Mann Whitney U Test were used to analyze the quantitative subproblems. According to the results of the study the Realistics Mathematics Teaching was meaningfully effective to The Ministry of Education High School Mathematics Curriculum.
