The aim of this research is to examine the assertiveness levels of undergraduate students with regard to gender, class level, self construal and five factor personality traits. The participants consisted of 507 (194 male, 313 female) undergraduate students who continue their education a state university in Ankara. In this research, Assertiveness Inventory, Adjectives Based Personality Test, Relational-Individual Collective Self Construal Scale and Personal Information Form were used in order to collect data. The multiple regression analysis to benefit from define five factor personality traits and self construals predictive power of the levels of assertiveness. Independent samples t test was used to determine whether significant difference university students level of assertiveness according to gender. One Way Anova was used in the analysis comparison of assertiveness level in undergraduate students accordance with class level. SPSS 21.0 package was used for statistical analysis. According to findings of research, the extraversion, neuroticism, agreeableness, openness to experience personality traits and individualist and collectivist self construal features significantly predicted the undergraduate students levels of assertiveness. Also, the levels of assertiveness undergraduate students was not significant difference accordance with their gender and class level. Related findings were discussed in the light of literature and were made suggestions.
