The present study aims to determine the experiences of adolescents after divorce and to examine these experiences in terms of selected variables. The study group composed of 672 adolescent whose parents are officially divorced and are continuing their education at high school level in academic year of 2019-2020 in Turkey. The study group is randomly selected among several central districts of a metropole. In this study researcher have prepared ‘’Personal Information Forms’’ for gathering categorical data of the adolescences who their parents has been divorced. In addition the researcher also developed and used the “Adolescent Post-Divorce Experiences Scale” during the study. SPSS 20 and LISREL 8.0 softwares were used for statistical analysis of the data gathered from the study. Validity and reliability of studies of the scale were conducted. Independent samples t test was used to determine whether the divorced adolescents’ experiences differed significantly according to gender; Univariate analysis of variance (ANOVA) was also used to determine whether there is a significant difference according to perceived family income level, the person he\she currently lives with, the presence\number of siblings, the time elapsed after his/her parents’ divorce and frequency of seeing his\her parent. As a result; a culturally sensitive measurement tool has been developed and its validity and reliability evidence has been provided. At the same time, other statistical analyzes have shown that adolescents whose parents have been divorced; no statistically significant difference were found according to gender, and time elapsed after divorce of parents; Although it was found that there was a statistically significant difference according to perceived family income level, the person living with him\ her, the presence\number of siblings and the frequency of seeing the parents he\ she does not live with. The findings have been discussed and interpreted in the light of related literature and suggestions have been presented.
