Culture is the total value of the masses from the beginning of humanity to the masses with daily practices and core themes becoming a cult over time.Studying culture in cultural studies requires going beyond it. To do this, firstly, comparisons between groups should be made, and secondly, the differences and similarities of implicit cultural environments should be revealed. All life takes place in culture.Old age is an area that should be examined culturally as the last stage of human life. Examining the perception, judgment and behavior patterns that occur due to old age and exposing the implicit areas will ensure that the last phase of culture in the chronological plane is coordinated with other masses and that common cultural codes remain alive in memory. It is certain that all areas that make up the culture are fed from old age and contribute to the tradition.Old age has a cultural background that is synchronized with human history within the tradition. The main purpose of this study is to reveal that old age is a field that creates and transfers culture in the cultural plane. Internal and external dynamics that occur depending on old age reveal the basic components of culture. In another sense, putting forward the culture of old age reveals the panorama of the culture. In this thesis, firstly, general information about old age and the concept of old age is given and in the light of this information, the place of old age in Turkish culture and tradition is determined.By comparing the aged data in Turkish culture and the data emerging in the field of research, the culture and identity, development and change, differences, continuities and the inner and outer dynamics that provide continuity in the Turkish culture are classified.
