This study has been done to understand the relationship between the couples who are aged 65 or more’s attachment bases, how their relationship were, which life experiences they had after the loss of their partner while studying the effects of those experiences and how their life changed according to the situation of death. The research includes old people’s first attachment basis, the stories oriented their marriage and partner, their life’s first important loss, what they have experienced depending on the death of their pair, what kind of differences happened in the lives of them after they had lost their partner and the emotions left behind. This study has been done with a group who live in Ankara and at the ages of 65 or more which had 12 women and 8 men resulting in 20 people at total by using qualitive searching ways while doing semi-structured in-depth interviews with those people that lost their partner. The data were collected from the interviews has been analysed thematically using MAXQDA 18 software. The analyse indicated that in the first attachment relationships avoidant and safe attachment styles were dominant, there is no difference between widow woman and man when rearreanged marriage has happened, the old individuals who have a hobby adapt on their lifes easier but all of them feel the loneliness intensive,even in the decisions of the people who are planning to marry again contains the aim of getting rid of their loneliness. The results of research show that it is needed to focus on projecting the programmes and services which are related to old individual’s requirements to develope lagistations and policies about the topic to indicate the services in an efficient way.
