This study aimed to reveal the views of administrators and teachers about teacher leadership. This research was designed in descriptive phenomenological design under the qualitative research method. 16 participants that consist of 10 teachers and 6 administrators joined individual interviews with semi-structured interview forms. During interviews, teacher participants were asked 7 questions while administrator participants were asked 8 questions. To analyse the data of the study, audio-taped sounds were transcribed and changed into texts. According to the interviews that participants joined, it can be said that administrators and teachers’ perceptions and awareness levels about the definiton, roles and obstacles of teacher leadership is remarkably high. This situation is supported by the datas that were achieved by qualitative technique.
