The prerequisite for the act of creation must be an encounter with the objects of the outside world. The encounter manifests itself in the direction of requests. With the beginning of the 20th century, the act of creating has intensified in the art environment. Artists stopped giving works with cultural or religious content, followed the objects of the outside world and by adding these objects to their inner worlds, they caught the creative act. Artists have carried their encounters and experiences to an emotional dimension with their desire to create and created a new understanding of art. The subject of the thesis is to highlight the unconscious and illogical states of the figures or objects on the work while the artist constructs the world of images and to reflect them directly or indirectly in the artwork. The concept of the unconscious here has been studied around Rollo May, the actions and awareness potentialities that the individual cannot or cannot take, and Donald Kuspit has been studied around the definitions of "bringing the image to extraordinary dimensions with the furthest depths of the soul". In line with these definitions, my personal experiences and encounters were tried to be conveyed through applied studies and the emotional dimensions of the inner world were brought to the fore. The aim of the research is to show the contribution of the self-concept to the creation of a work of art. The self phenomenon begins to mature in childhood and the unconscious (depth of the soul) aspect of the memories in this period takes an important place. The artist needs original experiences and different encounters in order to express himself. Within the scope of the research, the extraordinary appearances resulting from the combination of the emotional aspects of these experiences and encounters with the unconscious have an important place. The artist recreates everything that is the product of the outside, in his inner world. The explanations of Donald Kuspit, which explains the relations between this interior and exterior, have been used. Kuspit is an art critic who studies the abstract aspect of inner reality rather than its traditional form. This definition draws my applied work directly into it. Because the abstract aspect of the inner world has generally been tried to be conveyed through visual forms in all my works.
