In this study, which is titled “Analysis of the ‘Kolay gelsin!’ Turkish as a foreign language textbook set which is used in Germany”; the teaching Turkish set “Kolay gelsin!”, which is prepared for language learners whose native language is German, is aimed to be examined under the themes of visual materials, texts, cultural elements, grammar teaching, vocabulary teaching, exercises and language teaching methods. For this purpose, in this study, firstly, it is searched that the historical development of the relations between the Republic of Turkey and the Federal Republic of Germany and parallel to these relations, it is discussed why, how and with which teaching materials, teaching Turkish to German speakers is practised in the historical process. Following this, the language teaching set named "Kolay gelsin!", which is prepared in accordance with the contemporary language teaching approaches and based on the specifications of “Common European Framework of Reference For Languages”, is examined under the given headings. For this analysis, the data obtained by document analysis were analyzed by content analysis method; firstly, data lists were created for each theme, then data were categorized by correlation, and themes were developed according to categories, and finally comments and evaluations were written in accordance with these themes. In this way, while the learning set was evaluated with the content analysis method, the criteria for analyzing the textbook were also developed using the inductive method. As a result of the evaluations, it was concluded that this teaching set was not written directly by the communicative method, but that it was mainly prepared by the communicative method, and some suggestions were made in this direction.
