In this study, the qualified local coursebook “Corso di lingua turca”, written by an Italian author in Italy for Turkish education, was investigated. Accordingly, the literature review was done. The Turkey-Italia relationship was summarized to understand which historical and scientific knowledge the coursebook for Italians who learn Turkish was based on. Under the historical reasons and conditions explained in this context, the information about the Turkish education books written by Italians was given. In the analysis of the coursebook, the data was collected by document analysis, which is one of the qualitative research methods. The book analysis scale was constructed by starting this collected information out, and the evaluation was done by content analysis. After a general briefing about the coursebook, the obtained findings are interpreted in the titles of visual elements, texts, grammar education, exercises, teaching words, the language of the book, culture, and method. In the conclusion part, several recommendations are given by concluding the obtained findings with a general evaluation. It is considered that this study contributes to teaching Turkish as a foreign language by the evaluation and explanation of a Turkish education coursebook used commonly nowadays with scientific knowledge in Italy.
