Abstract
Despite the increasing diversity of communication with the continuous technological developments in life, the poster which is an indicator string is one of the communication forms of graphic design that never loses its position today. The poster, which has been used to convey the message throughout the ages, has been created in a visual form according to the characteristics of each period it is in, and it had been produced in almost every field and every subject that needs to be announced. On the other hand, it can be argued that today's technologies play an important role in making life easier. In particular, the acceleration and rise of the human-centered understanding with mixed reality technologies does not only express the effectiveness of visual components that increase interest on the information system, but also includes components that can satisfy the audience's demands in terms of emotional appeal. In this case, the fact that the poster turns to new adventures and appears in the digital environment as animated and interactive does not mean that the traditional / static poster has been destroyed by digital screens. On the contrary, the poster continues its promising development in new areas by spreading its influence and power to different scopes. The first stage of the thesis on "Mixed Reality and Cultural Poster Designs" consists of the development of the poster in the summary historical process, the analysis of cultural poster designs and application techniques in the world and in Turkey. Second, there are techniques for the development and application of motion graphics in the digital age. The third phase includes the historical development, physical and conceptual features of interaction design, and research of related disciplines. In the fourth stage, there is research in which the definition of mixed reality, its historical development, application methods, areas of use and purposes and its connection with graphic design are discussed. In the last stage of the thesis, there are the production stages of the MAR application projects, which can be watched on screen and head-mounted devices by making use of the opportunities offered by mixed reality technologies, and which enable the unreal with virtual objects. The content of the thesis, its limitations and the frame of the researched subject have been prepared in order to convey it to the reader in the most accurate way.
