Loads are occured on the vehicles by the road conditions, their velocities, the curve that they take etc. These loads cause to create stresses on the vehicle chassis. Because of these stresses some problems can occur on the vehicle chassis in time. Because of this reason to analyse the stresses and deformations, which are occured on the vehicle chassis, is very important. Hereby the problems can be cleared at the design stage. The stress analysis using finite element method made impotant additions to the engineering world of late years. Because the occured stresses and deformation values can be calculated with tiny errors, in other words near to its real values, by the help of the computer softwares. This study aimed that to go into the chassis analysis of HU-GO Ultra Light Vehicle, which is produced by the Mechanical Engineering Department of the Hacettepe University. The CAD drawings of the chassis of the vehicle are made for this and the CAD drawings are transferred to the ANSYS software, where we made the finite element analysis. After that the strength and modal analysis of the chassis are made by the ANSYS software. Critical regions according to the size and the density of the stresses and deformations are determined, design factors are calculated, natural frequency values are found with results of these analysis.
