İşverenler Açısından Eski Hükümlü Çalıştırmaya Bakış: İstanbul Kadıköy’de Bir Saha Araştırması
In this thesis; question forms were prepared on behalf of getting data related to private sector’s - which is no longer obliged to employ ex-convict– overview in the matter of ex-convict’s employment, these forms were applied on 150 workplaces in Kadikoy district of İstanbul, where workplaces are intensely located. When determining the workplaces, those places have been preferred, in which both women and men work together. In our research; it’s aimed to provide information about emloyment of exconvict individuals, as well as to analyse the overview intended to former female convict and former male convict. There are also questions about the issues of woman’s and man’s work life, in order to search for answers in cases of recruitment, dismissal, tolerance and warning at workplace. At interviews it is determined that; men take more part in workplaces and they are mostly warned, as for women are the tolerated gender and it’s tried to follow an equitable policy in recruitment and dismissal. However the case in point is ex-convict, it is a compulsive situation for both woman and man. Although the participants indicated that their attitudes may change according to type of the offence; in case of recruitment, on behalf of both women and men, the label of “ex-convict” is generally considered significant by participants.
