The evolution of human beings is accelerated by the use of hands. Human beings depict with the help of hands; they struggle for survival against nature and environment in paintings. They believed that these paintings would provide them protection against nature. They intended to add the soul by adding their own hand to the pictures they made. In this context, the hands and such signs are the beginning of mankind. This beginning also created art. In the past and today, hand form has entered the lives of almost every artist dealing with plastic arts. This has arisen from a reflection of the artist's education process or the willingness of the hands to exploit it. The thesis of this thesis is the work of the artist's critique of the power of expression and the force of this power. In this context, the handler has been used through art to express what is meant to be referred to, and thus the hand becomes the instrument of resistance of today's artist. The painting is described in the works of art under the title of Hands as Criticism in the Picture. In this context, the examples of the artists examined their stand against political power and social events. In general, the artist tends to be opposed by the soul of your profession. Because the artist does not want to put a certain mold or defend a political ideology in fanaticism. This posture stems from the libertarian nature of the artist. In the light of this view, the struggle of the artist is generally based on freedom. In short, being an artist can be standing in the face of wrongs. This is also seen in the works produced. Protesting oppressive political power in China, protesters made Statue of Liberty in Tiananmen Square in 1989. Thats one of the best example to an oppressive political power was called; you are against the freedom of speech. In fact, these artist reactions are reactions given as a result of seeking solutions to past problems. However, these problems are not the problem of the past, but they are still continuing today. In this context, the paintings made in the thesis work are a reaction expression to the social problems.
