As a natural consequence of urbanization, increasing number of vehicles and time management gains more importance from day to day, increasing the standards becomes inevitable. Sometimes tunnel constructions are needed for the construction of roads with high standards in the areas with rugged land conditions. In addition, the feasibility and contsturction time of the tunnels with the developing technology in recent years has increased considerably. Therefore, the tunnels constructed in the application projects todays are used as an alternative by replacing the high splitting sections. In this thesis, it is aimed to evaluate the possible effects of in-situ stress conditions and distance between twin tunnels to deformations. The effects on deformation and plastic zone analysis results was evaluated depending on the change of the ratio of horizontal stress to vertical stress (k parameter) within the possible realistic limit values and also the change of distance between twin tunnels by numerical models generated by using the Phase2 program.
