The main purpose of the study is to determine the character of the advertising contract and to determine the provisions to be applied to this contract. In this context, the subject is examined in three different chapters. In the first chapter, the concept of advertising, the elements of the advertising, the legal nature of the advertising and the approach of various branches of law to advertising, especially the character of intellectual and artistic work were emphasized. The definition of the advertising contract, the contracting parties of the contract, the elements of the contract, the legal nature of the contract and the differences between advertising contract and the other contract for work and services were discussed in the second chapter which constitutes the basis of the study. Finally, in the third chapter, the advertiser and the advertising agency’s obligations were considered and in which cases to expire the contract has been handled.
