Aksoy, H., An Investigation of the Relationships Between Perceived Organizational Justice, Goal Orientation and Perceived Motivational Climate among Professional Footballers., University of Hacettepe Graduate School of Health Sciences Sport Science and Technology Program M.Sc. Thesis, Ankara, 2019. In this study, it’s purposed to investigate the relationships between perceived organizational justice, goal orientation and perceived motivational climate among professional footballers. Participants were 357 professional footballers. For the analysis of the results, independent t-test, one-way analysis of variance, bivariate correlation coefficient, multiple hierarchical regression analysis and the analysis of mediation and moderation effects were used. Regression analysis results showed that %67,3 of the variance in task orientation was explained by model 1 including distributive, procedural and interactional justice and model 1 gave statistically significant results (R2=,673, F(3,353)=241,688; p<,05). After adding performance and mastery-oriented climate in model 2, R square change was significant and %7,8 (R2=,751, Finc(5, 351)=211,665; p<,05). Regression analysis results showed that %56,6 of the variance in ego orientation was explained by model 1 including distributive, procedural and interactional justice and model 1 gave statistically significant results (R2=,566, F(3,353)=153,448; p<,001). After adding performance and mastery-oriented climate in model 2, R square change was significant and %14,4 (R2=,710, Finc(5, 351)=172,218; p<,05). Depending on subscales of perceived organizational justice, scores of perceived motivational climate and goal orientations gave statistically significant results and total score of perceived organizational justice mediated the relationship between task orientation and mastery-oriented motivational climate. As a result, in sports environments where the perception of justice is positively high, it has been observed that the athletes are more mastery-oriented and more task-oriented.
