The study investigates the cultural content of a teaching Turkish set "Yedi İklim" which is a teaching Turkish as a foreign language set published by Yunus Emre Institute. The set was investigated in terms of both big "C" and little "c" cultural themes and target culture, international culture and culture neutral categories of culture by a checklist created by the researcher. A total of 144 reading texts from all levels of the textbooks from A1 to C2 was under examination. At the end of the study the set was found to have almost equal distribution regarding big "C" and little "c" cultures when all levels are taken into consideration, however the distribution of big "C" and little "c" cultural themes in specific levels varies greatly. The set is observed to have a significant increase in big “C” cultural themes -specifically in levels C1 and C2- as the levels advance. Moreover, target culture was highly dominant compared to international culture and culture neutral categories of culture respectively.
