Television has an important place in Turkey. Despite the existence of the internet, television continues to be one of the most important sources of information. Turkish people spend a long time in front of televisions and the television dramas are the most viewed programs. Considering the television viewing habits of Turkish television viewers, television series have an important place in the broadcasting sector. As a result of commercial television, the most important target is the production of television series for channels and producers, which is the most important goal of making profits. In order to be successful in the rating race, there are many series of screens each year. Some of them go ahead in the rating race, while others remain behind and end in a few episodes. Channels and producers are in a serious race to achieve advertisements from advertisers and to keep the audience on the screen in order to make a profit. As a result of this race, adaptation television series have started to be produced. The adaptation production process refers to the localization and reproduction of the productions which have been published in a certain country of the world and which have obtained high ratings. In this production process, purchased television shows start running after localized and adapted according to Turkey's culture, customs and traditions. This study is based on the assumption that adaptation television series become the source of the story needed by the sector and because of that, labor force in the sector of television series starts to become dull and themes are started to be typical. With this study how the production process of these adaptation series was carried out was tried to understand by interviews with the labors working actively in the sector.
