This study focuses on four-step multiple choice questions to reveal the conceptual misconceptions of intensity of science teacher candidates and to determine the ratio of science knowledge, information deficiencies and conceptual misconceptions about gas pressure. In order to achieve these goals, a four-stage Misconceptions About Gas Pressure Diagnose Test(MAGPDT) developed. The KR-20 reliability coefficient of the test was 0.855 for scientific knowledge and the KR-20 reliability coefficient of the misconception was 0.761. This test was applied to 635 students in Science Education Program in 2018-2019 academic year in order to determine their misconceptions about gas pressure. As a result of the research; In addition to the 8 misconceptions that have a value higher than 10% of science teacher candidates about gas pressure, a total of 22 misconceptions, some of which are included in the current literature, were identified in this study. Moreover, it was considered that the scientific knowledge levels were not sufficient and that it was inadequate for them to answer the questions correctly, to explain the reason for the answer and to be sure of these answers.
