In the study, the "Mass and Weight" unit of the students identified as the control group of the 7th grade B branch and the C branch of the Necip Fazıl Secondary School were processed with traditional and cartoon supported method. Control and experimental group students' knowledge of ve Mass and Weight ”were measured and recorded before and after the study.The achievement test scale used in the pre and post test consists of 4 questions in total.Since some of the questions in the study were partly correct answers, 12.5 points were given which is half of the full score. In the study, paired t test was used to examine the pre-test and post-test scores, and independent sample t-test was used to examine the differences in test scores according to the groups. The analyzes were performed with SPSS program. In the control group, it can be said that the students' knowledge about ve Mass and Weight did not show a significant improvement according to the evaluations made at the beginning and one month after the study. It was seen that the students who participated in the cartoon supported teaching activity increased their knowledge about “Mass and Weight.. It was observed that the knowledge level of the students was similar at the beginning of the study, but the knowledge level of the experimental group was higher. In the experimental group, it was determined that the development of students according to the beginning showed a significant improvement around 21 points on average.
