Türkiye'de Gözetim, Cezalandırma ve İstisna Hâli
Abstract
This is a descriptive and hypothetical study which uses qualitative data gathering and analysis techniques. Within the context of the study, semi-structured in-depth interviews with 7 women and 15 men in total, who were arrested because of their political views, remarks or actions and were already released at the times of the interviews, were conducted. The interviewees are individuals who were university students when they were arrested. Comprehensive data regarding the political views and actions of the interviewees were obtained and the criteria that commonize them were tried to be detected. What the interviewees did and what they thought about the three different periods of their life (pre-imprisonment, prisonment and post-prisonment) was investigated and the answer to the questions of how surveillance and punishment were realized on the arrested students and what the effects and goals of power applications are.
