Nüfuz, İktidar, Servet ve Lüks Tüketim: Anadolu Selçuklularında Siyasal Nüfuz, Güç ve Otorite İlişkisi
Abstract
The purpose of this theses is to depict, as far as possible depending on the available documents, the relation between power struggles and consumption rituals observed in Anatolian Seljuks whose reign lasted from11th to early 14th century. To this end, in the first part of the theses consumption, luxury consumption and luxury rituals along side the factors that affect the consumption mindset will be discussed. In the second part, along side the depiction of political structure of the Anatolian Seljuks, it will be a given a special importance to the role of political activities in fostering consumption rituals. As for the last part, it has been aimed at showing what the consumption rituals were and in which ways these rituals were carried out.
