Gebelerin Bazı Riskli Davranışlarının İzlenmesi
Abstract
This study has been planned to identify and monitor some risky behaviors of pregnant women. This descriptive study has been conducted in Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine Women's Health and Maternity Department and Etlik Zübeyde Hanım Maternity and Women's Health Training and Research Hospital in 2011. 76 16-27- week- pregnant women from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine Women's Health and Maternity Department and 97 from Etlik Zübeyde Hanım Maternity and Women's Health Training and Research Hospital have been included in this study and the survey has been repeated within 165 pregnants and 165 women were reached to study their delivery outcomes. Data has been collected via Evaluation of Some Risky Behaviors of Pregnant Women Questionnaire prepared by the researcher and is consisted of 3 sections. The mean age of the participants is 27,65±4,8 (min 18 and max 40). Seven point three percent of women are smokers, 1.8% are drinking alcohol, 95,2% are using cell phones, 51,6% are using computers and 9,1% are drivers at the time of data collection. Based on the difference between the before pregnancy and ≥ 28 week of pregnancy there are 85% decrease in the number of smokers, 87,5% in the number of alcohol drinkers, 45,8% decrease in the cell phone usage time and 66,7% decrease in the number of drivers. No statistically significant relation was found between low birth weight, preterm birth and risky behaviours such as smoking and drinking alcohol. This study should be repeated within a larger group of participants in order to find the relation between risky behaviours and the birth status.
