During the recorded date, comic has been seen as a popular mass media and consumption, the fact that it is basically a narrative type largely ignored and / or hidden. In this context, non-reproducible literature, comics, both as an art form and in a narrative context, it has carried the question of what its species is to the present day. Such that these discussions have not ceased even today. On the other hand, the situation of new media dominating the established media, it forced all the media in general and the comic book in particular to a transformation. The limits of this narrative genre embodied in the print media environment, it has been eroded to accommodate the production and display possibilities of the virtual environment. Traditional comic form, in this process, it has been adapted to multiple media by its creators and publishers to get the highest benefit from its commercial potential. As a result of these attempts, the generic status of the comic was opened to discussion again, and many new forms that were added to the comic had been appeared. "Motion Comic", of these forms, it has been found worthy of investigation since it constitutes the most current and most controversial sample in the narrative context. The traditional structure of the comic, motion comic that threatens foreign elements such as motion and sound, it has been the subject of allegations that "the comic has turned into something else". Within the scope of our study, the generic structure of the motion comic, its position between comic and animation, was subjected to an investigation based on the narrative theory. In the first and second parts; by discussing narratology, the methodology related to the subject was introduced, the traditional structure of the comic book was examined and its narrative position was determined. After that; A generic classification is proposed by analyzing the structure of the motion comic. Finally, with a motion comic proposal, the potential and drawbacks of this genre have been experienced, an exemplary has been set as it should be.
