The most important thing for companies to survive in today's competitive conditions is human resources. Listening to the opinions of staff and showing their importance is one of the first steps to be an innovative company. Suggestion Systems have emerged in order to pool, evaluate and reward employee ideas. Many companies use a suggestion system. Apart from collecting suggestions in systems, measuring the added value of the suggestion is also an important issue. In today's world where the concept of innovation gains importance, measuring and rewarding the value of an innovative idea has become one of the important development ways for companies. This study provides a method for evaluating innovative ideas with the help of Multi Criteria Decision Making methods (MCDM) in a firm operating in the defense industry in Turkey. For this reason, a committee was determined and an evaluation form was developed. The criteria in the form were determined as a result of literature research and the criterion weights were calculated with AHP and Fuzzy AHP methods. In order to evaluate the functioning of the form, total scores were calculated for the nine suggestions entered into the suggestion system in the company in line with the criteria and weights in the form. Using the Topsis method, suggestions were compared between each other and a ranking was determined. The evaluation form created in the study is intended to be a reference for all companies aiming to be innovative. Since the study is based on analytical methods, it is aimed to contribute to the literature.
