The main objectives of teaching Turkish as a foreign language are to provide students with the necessary competencies while teaching Turkish. As in other foreign language teaching processes, one of the areas where various difficulties are encountered in the process of teaching Turkish as a foreign language is the writing skill. Writing skill, one of the most vital indicators in the language learning process, is one of the important components of the targeted ability to communicate while learning a language. The student has overcome one of the barriers to language skill in line with the level at which he can write the target language in accordance with the rules. Despite the importance of writing skills in teaching Turkish as a foreign language, when the literature is examined, the low number of studies in which students are evaluated according to different writing criteria is striking. The writing skills of Afghan Uzbeks, who are particularly eager to learn Turkish, have not been adequately researched. In this thesis, it is aimed to determine the level of Turkish writing skill of Afghanistan Uzbeks who learn Turkish and to present the problems they encounter and to offer solutions. The population of the study consists of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades of Afghanistan Uzbek students studying Turkish at Belh University. In this direction, the 1., 2., 3. and 4th grade students were included in the study.
