In this report, titled Slum Image and Remembrance in Sculpture Art, the phenomenon of slum was first discussed. The reason for this phenomenon, which is handled with the relationship between art and remembrance, is the destruction of the shanty house number 266 in the Atapark neighborhood, where the report author was born. After the slum phenomenon was discussed within the scope of the report, the productions of other artists were researched and examples were added to the text. In the application processes, initially, studies were produced with up-to-date materials such as concrete, construction materials and visco sponge. In the continuation of the process, changes were made in the material and in the form of artistic expression, with the slum evolving into an image and pointing to a place that was tried to be remembered; Marble has replaced the current material. Through the image of marble and slum, it is aimed to remember the past and to keep the image in an eternal place. The fact that the slum is handled with marble, which is the opposite of its physical temporality, has opened up new questions.
