Window displays, which are used to attract the attention of customers in clothing stores, have become an important tool used by both employers and designers in recent years. In fact, these visual communication indicators have been designed as applications that fulfill the purpose of attracting customers and on the other hand, they have undertaken the tasks of providing social communication and creating beautiful sensory (aesthetic) impressions in the commercial context. Therefore, the window displays of some clothing stores can be designed as an artistic presentation and display area and can be differentiated from other displays. In parallel with the continuous development of technology and the change in design approaches in this context, unexpected interest and reaction environments can be created in the normal course of life of the target audience by using original illustrations, which are becoming more and more interesting day by day. So, by attracting the attention of passers-by even with no intention to enter any stores with the interesting graphic indicators used, they can arouse the curiosity to examine the window display, attracting them to the store. In order to further develop the window display illustrations, which have a great impact on the life of the individual and thus on the life of the society in terms of both function and aesthetics, it is very important to define the problems by researching the subject, to develop solutions to the problems identified and to realize more qualified illustrations in this context. In the first chapter titled "Conceptual Framework" of the research consisting of four chapters; the subject, purpose, problem, importance, method, limits and iv assumptions / hypotheses of the study are emphasized. In the second chapter titled "Window Display Design in the Clothing Sector"; clothing, window display and graphic applications in window display design are mentioned. In the third chapter, the illustration applications in the prominent window display designs in the world and in Turkey are analyzed; and analytical information is provided about the illustrators, application methods and styles of the illustrations. Window display illustration including two different clothing store, which has been used in scope of this study as implementation, has been revealed by examining at 4th and the last chapter.
