Our study includes beliefs, customs and traditions of Altan Tobci and Erdeni-yin Tobci, which are Mongol Chronicles of the XVII Century. Firstly, these chronicles are identified as written in right age and then, beliefs that in these chronicles are compared with Turkish-Mongol customs.
The Secret History of Mongols is evaluated with these chronicles due to importance of Mongolian history.
Beliefs that are identified in the chronicles are classified under 26 topic titles. They are not only compared with beliefs of XIII and XVII centuries also compared with beliefs of modern-day.
End of the study, reached reflections of the beliefs of XIII century to beliefs XVII century. And also reached similarities and dissimilarities of these beliefs with Turkish beliefs.
We are hoping to this study will be useful source for people who will study Turkish-Mongolian culture.
