Fertıgkeıtsvermıttlung Im Daf-Unterrıcht: Systematisches Review Und Meta-Synthese Der Forschungsarbeiten In Der Türkeı
Özet
Communicating in a language requires the four basic skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Since each language skill is interconnected and is considered a prerequisite for knowledge of a language, great importance should be given to teaching these four skills. To date, many researchers have conducted studies to effectively teach these four language skills in foreign language classrooms. In this work, studies written between 2000 and 2023 on teaching German in Turkey were selected from the YÖK National Thesis Center database using the specified keywords and inclusion criteria and analyzed using the systematic literature search and meta synthesis method. 28 studies were examined using the systematic literature analysis and 10 studies were examined using the meta synthesis method. The MAXQDA program was used to analyze the data and the results were presented in tables and graphics. For the analysis, main and subcategories were used, such as "defects in the foreign language course", "defects in speaking skills", "defects in listening skills", "defects in reading skills", "defects in writing skills", "suggestions for the foreign language course", "suggestions for Speaking Skills”, “Suggestions for Listening Skills”, “Suggestions for Reading Skills”, “Suggestions for Writing Skills”. The analysis revealed that, for example, listening skills had not been sufficiently examined or that factors such as fear, insufficient vocabulary, and the influence of the first foreign language had a negative impact on the students' language skills, while methods such as creative writing had a positive impact on language skills. At the end of the work, suggestions for future studies on teaching German language skills were presented.
